VISIT US
We welcome all visitors…
We’re excited to welcome you to the Society of Arts + Crafts, the hub for contemporary craft in Boston. As a cultural anchor in the thriving Seaport District, SA+C presents dynamic exhibitions, a retail gallery filled with one-of-a-kind objects at a variety of price points handmade by American artists, and an artist-in-residence program. We regularly offer programs, artist talks, and other unique cultural experiences that make SA+C a destination to return to again and again for in-the-know Boston residents, craft and design enthusiasts, and visitors looking to bring home a special token from Boston. We also rent out our galleries for private events; learn more here

Ways to get to SA+C
We highly recommend visitors take public transportation to get to our gallery. SA+C is located just a short walk from the Courthouse stop on the MBTA Silver Line, as well as a less than 20 minute walk from South Station.

Red Line Directions:
Arrive at South Station on the red line and then either walk through the beautiful Fort Point and Seaport neighborhoods or walk less by taking the Silver Line to Courthouse Station.

From Courthouse Station:
Walk along Seaport Blvd, heading away from downtown and the financial district. Look for District Hall to the left before coming up on 100 Pier 4 Blvd. Our entrance is located to the right of the Ocean Prime Restaurant.

Parking is also available at several locations nearby:

+ 85 Northern Avenue lot on the northeast corner of Seaport Blvd and 100 Pier 4 Blvd
One Seaport Garage – 75 Sleeper St directly across from the Envoy Hotel
Fan Pier Garage - One Marina Park Dr

If heading to our gallery with Uber or Lyft, use the address of Ocean Prime restaurant, 140 Seaport Blvd, Boston, MA 02210. Our entrance is located to the right past the entrance of Ocean Prime.

SA+C is also located right across from a BlueBikes docking station! Enjoy a beautiful ride over Fort Point Channel as you head down to visit us in the Seaport.

Accessibility
SA+C is fully wheelchair- and stroller-accessible. If you have any additional questions, please call us at 617-266-1810.

Kids and Dogs
Children and dogs are welcome at SA+C! Some areas of our galleries have fragile or sensitive objects, so some caution is required. However, most of our gallery space is a welcoming environment for parents and children to explore and learn about contemporary craft.
