The Society Celebrates #GivingTuesday

Greetings Friends,

Thanksgiving is around the corner and I would like to take a moment to express gratitude to so many of you for supporting the Society in our first year at 100 Pier 4. Thousands of people have observed our mission in action at CraftBoston and at our Seaport galleries. With the season of giving upon us, I am proud to represent an organization that values and invests in artists and craftspeople.

The days following Thanksgiving have evolved into a succession of shopping holidays — a relatively new tradition in which we are pleased to participate. Whether you are an early-bird or last-minute shopper, this year consider giving the gift of handmade craft.

Remember, proceeds of the sale of art directly benefit the artist who made the work; as well as the Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Shopping with us at the Holiday Marketplace @ 100 Pier 4 or at CraftBoston Holiday supports a creative economy and the businesses of hundreds of artists.

If you cannot join us on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, or Cyber Monday , we sincerely hope you can support us from afar on Giving Tuesday . A donation of any size helps us fund CraftBoston, rotating exhibitions, and educational programming.

Again, thank you to everyone who has supported our mission. If you would like to learn more about our mission and programming, or make a donation, please click here.

Kindly,

Fabio J. Fernández
